I am very proud to be participating on your Romani Photo competition, where the aim is a better communication between Roma and non-Roma people. I though, my story in these pictures is able to tell and makes you thinking, include all people around us: Is everything all right! What can I do about it? My aim is with this photo series, to orient peoples in this direction and force hem to think.
These pictures showing beveled mirror for the society with two parallel life, two human being. I would like to present all, that in Hungary for one Hungarian gypsy people what kind of chances were given, how can they can take advantages in law, how they can solve the discrimination and segregation with in background the equality right.
On the pictures one gypsy and one non-gypsy people milestones are presented like birth, school, degree, workplace and the future in parallel way.

The being life with one gypsy and non-gypsy new-born baby.
They born and start her life in same time, but they opportunities are different because of they origin. This picture refer for early die, and determinate where we born, what kind of opportunities we have. Where we born are determined our possibilities if we are agree. On the picture you can see my friend and my daughter

School and Course start: Foot race between gypsy and non-gypsy girl. They are start in different position. Gypsies are starting with 2meter handicap. On the pictures you can find my friend and my daughter.
With this pictures I hint and highlight that my teachers and majority always told me:” You are poor gypsy girl without opportunities”. I am just asked for everybody: „ please let me run”. I would like to stand on the start line and I will reduce the distance. I recognized the handicap is not disadvantages but double identity, inherited multicultural dissimilarity.

Two different places are on the pictures. I am standing near the school with a Diploma and my non-gypsy fellow with high-school degree near an elite school.
I present with this picture that I have to go through difficulties, hardship, but with persistent work and with good result I gain result I achieve what I plan. The school showing that instead of diploma we have big differences between opportunities, quality education. We have a right to learn in a school but we do not have opportunity in many cases.

This picture was made in Gym room. After my State Examination I worked as cleaning woman, and my non-gypsy fellow – who has only high-school degree is an owner and general manager – my boss- on the same place. Unfortunately – as I presented on the previous pictures – the people can achieve good results in the school, learn a lot, we have to prove for everybody that we can achieve and win in challenges.
This should create frustration, self-denial, but inside remain the faith and hope. My origin is blessed. I fight for acceptance and never ever give up. Sometimes I tired, as many people but we have right learning, working but in practice we do not have chance to validate this right.

One of sunny day two people sit near each other. One of them is happy, enjoy the sunlight compare other that is sad, care-worn, and worry about the days and months problem. Sad and tired.
They do not hate each other, but they live parallel without communication, without negative motivation. Meanwhile one of them can live with the base constitutional right, in freedom can apply successfully – maintain dignity, with respected tradition – integrate into kindergarten, high quality school reaching the best services everywhere, she will find her own predefined place in majority, then the other people in apparent legal equality has much less chance. In vain do everything and overcomes the obstacles that society perceives them as foreign her!
