How to post on RomaReact

RomaReact.org is an unique Roma blogging page. By opening your blog and sharing your ideas, critiques, comments, rising voice to join the public debate or a create one is caring about of future. Sharing is caring.

We care about what is happening to us. Our stories are motivation and serve as examples for others, in both ways – what to follow and what not to follow.

First step to have you blog is to login to RomaReact https://romareact.org/loginpage/

there are four options to login to RomaReact 1) Facebook account, 2) gmail account (mind you might be signed with one on your chrome account), 3) twitter, 4) Microsoft account . Choose of of those options.  You are registered after accepting the terms and conditions.

To post a blog

At the top of the  webpage, there is navigation bar that helps you to adjust your account as well as post new blog. The RomaReact blog is operating on the WorldPress content management system.

A quick way to make is to click on the left top + NEW

Give a title to your post. Write the text of your article in the box. You can edit your text using the editing tools.

You can copy already developed article from the Microsoft office or other writing editors, or you can simply write in the template provided by the blogging platform.

Adding media to you text Click on ADD MEDIA box. It will open a window and you can “drop files anywhere to upload”. You upload your images from your computer.  The better quality of the image, the better. You can adjust the position of the picture in the text by clicking to the picture and make the set up.

On the right side next to the title, you have a possibility to add FEATURE VIDEO. It will appear when you open your blog post before the text. Enter the URL of the video from the youtube.com

Setting the categories. There are several categories you can assign to your text. It can be multiple categories.

Promobox. If you have a quality picture and article you want to be promoted on the homepage in the promobox, you click on the YES

Setting the location for your text. At this very moment the search of location is not working, you have to find on the map the place where you want your blog to be located and you click there. To control, check if the red pointer is placed on the right place and if the data bellow in the box for the address changed.

Tags. Here you can write any words that are going to help people to understand about what is your text, separate those words by comma. You can also use from the most used tags.

Features image. You can set the feature image for your text. This will appear first at your blog post.

After you make sure, your text is in the shape you want to have it, go back to the right column where it the PUBLISH option. There you can set the preview, and click the PUBLISH.

PUBLISH OPTIONS

You can safe your text as a DRAFT. You can see a PREVIEW of your article.

You can also set the visibility to be PUBLIC, PASSWORD PROTECTED, or PRIVATE

You can publish you post immediately or set the time for publishing later.
