[Contest 2012] SULTAN RASTA FROM MALAYSIA ROMA FAMILY SHARING THEIR HOME IN TIMISOARA ROMANIA
I got to know this family in Timisoara, Romania while attending a Roma Women conference organized by Letitia Mark. I just bumped into thi family on the street and they were the nicest Romanians I have met that also invited me to their home sharing everything they had. With the other Romanians I was meeting on the street as a Malaysian I experienced coldness. Later I figured they thought I was Gypsy and that was the reason.
In the future I want to return to that house and spend more time with this beautiful family.
THEY HAVE A BIG HEART — NICE PEOPLE.
I have only figured after the visit that they were a Roma family — so now it all makes sense why there were so warm and welcoming. Roma people have big culture of hosting and loving their guests.
I PROMISE IN MY LIFE THAT I WANT TO COME AND VISIT THEM AGAIN ……….. I MISS TOO MUCH ROMANIA AND THE ROMA PEOPLE THERE
LOVE …..FROM SULTAN RASTA MALAYSIA
